A Few Facts Heading Into Game No. 6 Against Colgate

(1) The last time Cornell faced Colgate's Kyle Roemer (pictured above), the then sophomore pumped in 20 points against the Big Red.

(2) During 2006-2007, Cornell was 3-2 heading into the Big Red's 6th game of the year. Two of the losses were to Lehigh and Binghamton (with wins over Northwestern, Army and Stony Brook). This season, Cornell is an improved 4-1, having defeated Binghamton and Lehigh along the way. A win over Colgate would make Cornell 5-1 overall for the first time since the 1967-68 season.

(3) As of this posting, Cornell is 20th in the nation as a team on assists. Cornell is also shooting 52% from the floor (13th in the nation), 51% from beyond the arc (1st in the nation), and 77% at the free throw line (20th in the nation), while averaging 85 points per game, good for 21st in the nation.

(4) Adam Gore is currently shooting 39% on field goals, 35% on three pointers, and 94% on free throws. During 2005-2006, Gore's prior season with the Big Red, he shot 43% on field goals, 42% on three pointers, and 83% on free throws.

(5) Colgate has already lost to an Ivy League team. The Dartmouth Big Green defeated Colgate 81-76 in Hamilton, New York on November 24.
