Above, a Cornell marketing poster from the 2003-2004 season.The last time Cornell hosted a school from a BCS conference was on November 23, 2003 against Georgia Tech when 4,762 fans packed Newman Arena-- exceeding official seating capacity limits for basketball games of 4,473.
The BCS wait is now over. This season Cornell gets a visit on November 20 from Seton Hall of the Big East Conference.
Not only is Seton Hall a potential postseason team and the home opener for Cornell, but the Big Red are expected to raise the 2009-2010 Ivy League Championship Banner to the rafters during the pre-game ceremonies.

I was there. Jarrett Jack killed us at the end. It'd be a different story if that team played this year's Cornell team.
Unfortunately, the game is the same day as a Hockey game against Princeton, which will definitely effect the amount of people there.
Townies and students will pack this game because of name recognition opponent.

I was there. Cornell played with a Final 4 team for 30 minutes. It changed my assumptions about Ivy League basketball and got me to start going to games.
