Recruiting News

Below, some recruiting news from around the Ivy League...


NEHoopNews.com reports that Joey Gripper (Abington Friends School) Abington, PA, 6-0, G. visited Harvard over the weekend.

Shelby Moats (Waconia HS) Waconia, MN, 6-8, F, has offers from Minnesota and Utah, but is still considering several Ivies. He recently visited Penn, Princeton, Yale, and Harvard as well as several other east coast schools at both the high major and mid major levels.

Carlin Bremner (North Mecklenburg HS) Huntersville, NC, 5-11, G, lists with Scout.com his colleges of interest to include, Cornell, Brown, Davidson, Richmond, Liberty and Wofford among others.

Connor McDermott (Ensworth School) Nashville, TN, 6-8, F, attended the same high school as Cornell's Miles Asafo-Adjei. He is receiving interest from Columbia, Creighton and Penn per Scout.

Scout also identifies Corbin Miller (Brighton HS) Salt Lake, UT, 6-1, G as drawing attention from Harvard and Stanford. He already has offers from Utah and Utah State.

Corey Littlejohn (Healthwood Hall Episcopal) Columbia, SC, 6-2, G, has an offer from Wofford and is receiving attention from Penn, Davidson, Charleston, VCU, and ECU among others.

Shane Benton (Linn-Marr HS) Linn Marr, IA, 6-3, G told IowaPreps.com with respect to his college suitors, ""It has been North Dakota State, South Dakota State, West Point in New York, Cornell, and Yale. That is pretty much it." He added that he received his first offer at the D-I level from North Dakota.

Dakeena Battee-Aston (Findlay Prep) Henderson, NV, 6-8, 230, F, attended Cal's Elite Camp this weekend and told BearTerritory.net that his other school of interest is Cornell.

Sanjay Lumpkin (Benilde-St. Margaret's HS) St. Louis Park, MN, 6-5, F, told Minnesota Preps, "Some colleges that have sent me mail are the University of Wisconsin, Iowa State University, University of Northern Iowa, University of Pittsburgh, North Dakota State University, South Dakota State University, University of North Dakota, Colorado State University, and University of Pennsylvania."

Michael Holyfield (Manzano HS) Albuquerque, NM, 6-9, C told Gold and Green News that he has offers from Boise St, Cal and South Alabama while he fields interest from Princeton, Colorado St., and New Mexico St.

Denton Koon (Liberty HS) Liberty, Missouri 6'7" All State performer attended elite camps and received offers from Yale, Princeton, and Cornell. Other schools of interest include: Bucknell, Davidson, Central Michigan, Missouri, Northern Colorado, Oaklahoma State, Stanford, Rice, and Vermont.
