Recruiting News

Below, some buzz around Ivy League recruiting circles. Iowa, Iowa State, Creighton, Nebraska, Drake, Utah, Minnesota, Harvard, Marquette are among those interested in class of 2012's Adam Woodbury (East HS) Sioux City, IA, 6-11, C.

Also from the class of '12, Northstar Basketball reports that Egi Gjikondi (Cushing Academy) Malden, MA, 6-8, F, has interest from the likes of Princeton, Wake Forest, North Carolina State, Providence, Florida Atlantic, Kansas, Georgia, Virginia Tech, Miami, and Boston College.

Amadou Sidibe (Cardinal Hayes HS) Bronx, NY, 6-8, F, has a list of Yale, Rutgers, and Boston College. Although only a member of the class of '12, Yale has offered.

Darion Atkins (Landon Schooll) Bethesda, MD, 6-7, F, lists Georgetown, Wake Forest, Florida State, Maryland, Wisconsin, George Mason, Virginia Commonwealth, George Washington, Syracuse, and Penn. He has an offer from the Quakers.

John Manning (Chantilly HS), Chantilly, VA, 7-0, C, has recruiting attention coming in from William & Mary, Tulane, George Mason, Penn State, Michigan, Harvard, and Central Florida. William & Mary, Tulane, and George Mason have all offered.

Minnesota, Harvard, Oral Roberts, Pacific, Rice, San Francisco, and UT-San Antonio had all offered Tre Demps (Ronald Regan HS) San Anotonio, TX, 6-3, G. However, Demps committed today to Northwestern.

John Schoof (WT Woodson HS) (Fairfax, VA), 6-5, F, has an offer from Princeton with interest from William & Mary, Davidson, George Mason, Drexel, Penn, Harvard, Mount St. Mary’s, Lehigh, and Lafayette. Princeton and Davidson are his leaders.

Tyree Robinson (Lincoln HS) San Diego, CA, 6-3, G told that he has interest from Stanford, Washington, Washington State, USC, Texas, Kansas, Arizona, Harvard, UNLV, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and San Diego State.

Joshua Richardson (Santa Fe HS) Edmond, OK, 6-5, G, told, "ASU and UCLA are my top two but they aren't as far ahead as some people have said and aren't the only two schools I'm looking at. I have more of a top five with Baylor and Harvard and Georgia." Richardson has offers from Harvard, Arizona State and Wichita State.

Matt Tobin (Hopatcong HS) Hopatcong, NJ, 6-0, G is fielding interest from Princeton, Lafayette and Lehigh.
