Introducing: A BLUEPRINT FOR SUCCESS

The 2009-2010 Cornell Men’s Basketball team won its third straight Ivy League Championship and set a record for most wins in one season by an Ivy League team. The Big Red finished the season ranked No. 17 in the final ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll Top 25 and advanced to the 2010 NCAA Tournament's Sweet Sixteen. The team also made national headlines and earned the respect and admiration of college basketball fans and experts around the world in the process.

Contents of the book: 92 pages of game action, post-game celebration, and behind the scenes photos; comments from players and coaches; and excerpts from articles written by local and national media. Proceeds from your purchase of each book goes back to the Cornell Athletics Department.

this isn't a scam right?

The book isn't going to be of traditional Cornell Yearbook's basketball section quality, with completely inaccurate captions written by somebody who doesn't know his ass from a Cornell bball game, right?

The book is not a scam. We will be posting some sample sections in the coming weeks.

The Athletics Department was fully involved in the publication process.

I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of disappointed. This book was churned off an assembly line. I was hoping (not expecting)for something more original.

Q'nis: It tells the story of the team's path to the Sweet 16 and that is definitely original. A lot of people spent a lot of time writing the book, which even includes players' accounts, so what's your problem?

It also includes the involvement of Coach Donahue AFTER he joined Boston College.

Point taken. I hope I'm wrong because I'll definitely be buying the book. I guess the fact that it was written on myteambooks.com rubs me the wrong way. Seems like a fill-in-the-blanks mad lib type book. The win vs. Dartmouth made me feel (---). Beating Temple was (---) great.

I just spent $35 on this book, who knows when it will arrive. It better not be a piece of crap.

CBB, do you have a copy of this? How do you know it's not just some generic fill in the blanks photo scrapbook with token quotes from players and coaches?

It contains a mixture of both original new pieces as well as clippings of photos, articles and quotes from throughout the season.

We will be posting some sample pages.
