Recruiting News: Princeton Lands Second Commit

Below, some recruiting news in the Ivy League...

The Oklahoman reports via Twitter that Princeton received a verbal commitment from Clay Wilson (Lincoln Christian HS), Tulsa, OK, 6-3, G. Minnesota, Davidson, Texas-San Antonio, Lafayette, Tulsa, Oral Roberts, Air Force, University of Southern California, Denver, Colorado, Iowa State, Texas Tech, and Belmont are among those that expressed varying levels of interest.

Kyle Caudill (Olinda HS) Bera, CA, 6-11, C gave Steve Donahue and Boston College a verbal commitment last night according to numerous sources. "He's excited and a little bit anxious about it," Cameron Caudill, Kyle's father, told Scout.com. According to the elder Caudill, Northwestern, Oregon State, Harvard and Penn were also under consideration. "He was looking for a school that offered a top level basketball program and had a great academic reputation and Boston College fit that mold," Cameron Caudill, Kyle's father, said. "With coach [Steve] Donahue moving in there from Cornell and the style of play he has is good for Kyle's game," he added. "I don't know what player wouldn't want to compete in the ACC. It's the premier of the basketball conferences as we're concerned." Boston College previously took a commitment from Dennis Clifford (Milton Academy) Milton, MA, 6-11, C, another high priority target of Harvard and Penn.
