  • Cornell's preseason schedule will include the Red-White Srimmage on Saturday, October 23, 2010 and closed scrimmages against Colgate (October 30) and Lafayette (November 6), both in Newman Arena.

  • In alumni news, Jeff Foote ('10) (above) commenced practice with his team, Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Euro League power from Israel. Meanwhile, Louis Dale ('10) and his championship Gottingen team in Germany's Budesliga next take the floor for exhibition on September 5 against BV Chemnitz. Below, a video interview of Foote. The interview starts around the 3:30 mark.


  • ESPN's Andy Katz profiles the Minnesota Gophers. The Big Red travel to Minneapolis, a home visit for sophomore, Josh Figini, on December 4, 2010. Speaking of Minnesota, here is a Date in Cornell Basketball History. Back on December 30, 1976, the Gophers were forced to forfeit their 84-54 victory over Cornell for the use of an ineligible player. Minnesota was No. 13 in the country that year after a 24-3 finish.
  • The Dagger of YahooSports previews the A-10 with Andrew Nicholson of Saint Bonaventure noted in the article as the league's most underrated player. Saint Bonaventure visits Newman Arena on November 19.
  • The following video of Cornell's fan support during the Big Red's 2010 NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen run just made its way onto YouTube.
