Recruiting News

Cornell has five recruiting commitments from high school seniors in the class of 2011. The class includes:
  • Dave LaMore C/PF 6-10 Whitmore Lake MI Dexter HS
  • Deion Giddens C 6-9 Surprise AZ Willow Canyon HS
  • Shonn Miller G/F 6-6 Cleveland OH St. Ignatius HS
  • Galal Cancer PG/SG 6-2 Albany NY Christian Brothers HS
  • Devin Cherry PG/SG 6-3 Meridian MS HS
With a core group of five incoming recruits, Cornell now has the luxury of focusing its attention on recruiting the class of 2012. Nevertheless, if Cornell identifies another "can't refuse" player in the class of 2011 or a viable transfer option (either from a JuCo or D-I program), it is possible the Big Red add another player to the above group.
