Wittman Taking Italian Heat

Could Ryan Wittman's career with Fulogor Libertas Forli in LegaDue of Italy be coming to an end? Local Italian media such as Romagna and the team's unofficial fan site, ForliBasket, seem to think so. Wittman has taken some heat from the demanding Italian media after shooting 2/14 from beyond the arc in the team's first three games. Wittman, however, is shooting a healthy 60% from the floor and averaging 10.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Arguably Forli's best player, Wittman is second on the team in scoring, first in assists and fourth in rebounding. The images below come from ForliBasket.

Google translate on the signs:

We've got a crab? Rimini wins (and good) to Palafiera against FulgorLibertas too ugly to be true. Once again Ryan Wittman negative: the end game of Lorenza (for the first time) on your American perplexity.

Wittman uses his degree in Business Administration. "Ryan, how would you describe your experience Forli?" "A high risk investment"

Wittman leading the team in assists at 2 per game? That can't be right can it? If true, that's a sign the team sucks and can't get him the ball in a good position to shoot it.

I know one thing, Wittman has an endearing smile... How could you not love that guy?
