Ivy League Office Weekend Preview

Complete Ivy League Men's Basketball Weekly Release

PRINCETON, N.J. -- It's rematch weekend with the three return games among Ivy League travel partners that highlight the men's basketball weekend schedule for Jan. 21-23.

Brown-Yale, Columbia-Cornell and Dartmouth-Harvard series ring the bell for their respective round two matchups on Saturday with two home teams, Yale and Harvard, looking for season sweeps and Cornell hoping to avenge its road loss to Columbia a week ago.

Columbia goes into its second game with Cornell on a streak of its own, winners of three straight and seven of its last eight games. The Lions are looking to sweep the season series with the Big Red for the first time since the 2001-02 campaign. Columbia's man in the middle, junior center Mark Cisco, has come on strong lately, averaging 9.8 points and 6.6 rebounds in his last five games. Cornell will need another strong performance from junior guard Drew Ferry, who had 23 points in the first meeting, to help the Big Red get back into the win column for the third in its last five games.

Round 2 of the Columbia-Cornell series is the opening game in the 14-game Ivy League Game of the Week on SIRIUS Satellite Radio schedule. All 14 games can be heard on SIRIUS Channel 130.
