Wittman is a Mad Ant

Brian Delaney of the Ithaca Journal broke the news via Twitter that Ryan Wittman ('10) has signed, as expexted, with an NBA D-League club. Wittman has agreed to terms with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, which is the official minor league affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks.

Wittman is the third Cornell alumnus to sign with an NBA D-League club since 1999, joining Jeff Aubry ('99 Fayetteville Patriots/Florida Flame) and Cody Toppert ('05 Albuquerque Thunderbirds).

According to the blog, Louis Dale will be facing tougher competition than Wittman because the D-League isn't as good as Germany. Is that right?

Yes, Dale's Germany competition is superior to what Wittman will face.
