  • In NBA D-League action, Ryan Wittman ('10) and his Fort Wayne Mad Ants team will face the Springfield Armor on Saturday at 7:30 pm. The game is nationally televised the Versus Channel.
  • TheFreeGeorge.com writes of incoming Cornell recruit, Galal Cancer (Christian Brothers HS) Albany, NY, 6-3, G and his participation this weekend in the NYSPHSAA New York State High School Basketball Championships in Glen Falls, New York, "Local team Albany CBA will be representing the area for the AA section. Albany CBA is competing as their third year as section champions. Senior shooting guard, Galal Cancer, who has recently verbally committed to Cornell’s basketball team for the fall of 2011, is the team leader. He scored a whopping 25 points in the team’s previous game against Henninger... Albany CBA will be continuing their winning streak against Jamestown on Saturday, March 19th at 12:30 pm."
