  • Incredibly, Cornell still has nine players on its 2011-2012 roster that were members of Cornell's 2009-2010 Sweet Sixteen team.
  • Cornell is mentioned in a pair of western Pennsylvania media articles in reference to the Big Red's recruitment of Nolan Cressler (Plum HS) Plum, PA, 6-5, G. See the Pittsburgh Tribune and the Plum Advance Leader for the stories.
  • Below, the stats for Jeff Aubry ('99) in his first three games of the BSN Finals in Puerto Rico. Aubry and his Arecibo Capitanes lead the series over Quebradillas 2 games to 1.

Mangano is beasting this summer. Likely going to be a problem for us come league play...

Greg Mangano's a great player. However, make no mistake about it. The emergence of Kreisberg at mid-year in 2010-11 contributed to his big year.

Unfortunately, Yale's pre-season schedule this year will not be much of a test for him and his teammates. Six teams with sub-250 RPIs and two D-3 clubs? It resembles something you typically see from Columbia, Brown, or Dartmouth.

Though their stats and record may look great in January, one must wonder whether whether Yale will be ready to knock heads in league play.
