Recruiting News

In this post, some recruiting updates from around the Ivy League.

Class of 2012 News

David Andoh (St. Mary's HS) Berkeley, CA, 6-7, F told Nor Cal Preps he holds offers from Colorado, Santa Clara and Penn and is also hearing from Washington State, Cal, Stanford, UC Riverside, Pepperdine, Utah, UTEP, Cal Poly, Detroit and Columbia. Andoh did say that his favorite is "probably Colorado" at this point. Asked which schools are coming after him the hardest, Andoh replied, "Washington State is on me pretty hard [as well as] Penn, Cal, Colorado, UTEP, Detroit, Cal Poly, [and] Pepperdine."

Aztec Sports Report notes that SDSU, Penn and Colorado are among the offers for Brendyn Taylor (Fairfax HS) Los Angeles, CA, 6-2, G.

Chris Bolden (Norcross HS) Norcross, GA, 6-3, G has offers from Cornell and Harvard according to numerous sources and is strongly considering the Ivy League. He is also hearing from a slew of BCS programs according to Scout.com, including Texas A&M, USC, Mississippi and Virginia Tech after decommitting from Miami. Bolden is expected to visit Harvard the same weekend that Zena Edosomwan (Harvard-Westlake HS) North Hollywood, CA, 6-7, F and Mike Hall (Woodward Academy) College Park, GA, 6-10, C, make visits, the weekend of September 22.

In addition to Bolden, Cornell has reported class of 2012 offers out to Nolan Cressler (Plum HS) Plum, PA, 6-4, G and Anthony Dallier (North Alleghany HS) Alleghany, PA, 6-5, F. In addition to Cornell, Cressler has offers from Yale, Boston U. and St. Francis (PA), while Dallier has an offer from Duquesne. Dallier is also hearing from Michigan and Penn State as well as numerous mid majors.

Big East Basketball Report notes that Ethan O'Day (Northfield Mount Hermon School), Northfield, MA, 6-8, F, is planning visits to Penn and possibly Princeton.

Per Rivals.com, Matt Howard (A.J. Flora HS), Columbia, S.C., 6-4, G, has ten offers on the table, including from South Carolina, VCU, Virginia Tech and Richmond and is also hearing from Harvard.

FlagrantFouls.com notes that Vermont, American, Penn, and Colorado State have called Andrew Van Camp (Port Perry, ON), 6-8, F.

Christian Sanders (St. Thomas HS) Houston, TX, 6-3, G, told Scout.com he is hearing from Maryland, Texas, Stanford, Oklahoma State, Colorado, Harvard, Kansas and Vanderbilt.

According to New York Post Amadou Sidibe (Cardinal Hayes HS) Bronx, NY, 6-8, F, has offers from Sacred Heart, Drexel, Hofstra, Boston U., Quinnipiac, Fordham, Holy Cross, Manhattan, Marist, LIU, Harvard, Princeton, Columbia and Penn. Interest is also coming in from Iowa State, Miami, Central Florida, Dayton, NJIT, Fairleigh Dickinson and Delaware.

Class of 2013 News

Isaiah Watkins (St. Benedict's HS) Newark, NJ, 6-8, C has offers from Santa Clara and Rice and interest from Harvard.
