Guess Miller is pretty awesome. Was he this highly regarded coming in or is this a surprise? How is he going to play with Peck? Inquiring minds want to know...

Yeah, with Peck injured, kind of reminds me of that scene in Top Gun when Goose and Maverick get told they're going to Top Gun (to paraphrase):

Coach Courtney (to Miller and Cancer): I gotta take somebody from the bench to a starting spot. I gotta do something here, I still can't believe it. I gotta give you your dream shot! I'm gonna send you up against the best. You two characters, are going to be starting. For the next few weeks, you'll be playing against the best players in D1. You were number two, Peck was number one! Peck got injured-turned to the bench. You guys are number one! But you remember one thing: if you screw up just this [pinches fingers for emphasis] much, you'll be playing JV with a squad straight out of JUCO!

(note: not making fun of Peck or his injury - actually feel really bad for this happening to him. While I would love for him to return, would rather see him healthy in the long term so one day he could hopefully play pro somewhere if he aspires to.)
