  • The Ivy League announced:  "The Ivy League is conducting its 2013-14 men's basketball preseason media teleconference, featuring all eight head coaches, on Wednesday, Oct. 23 beginning at 11 a.m. ET. Each head coach will be available for 10 minutes to preview the season. Reggie Greenwood, Ivy League coordinator of men's basketball officials, will also be available for 10 minutes to discuss and answer questions about the major rules changes and points of emphasis for the upcoming season." Cornell's Bill Courtney will speak at 12:05 pm.
  • Boiled Sports writes, "Errick Peck will be able to play multiple positions in spite of being a bit undersized for the B1G. He can shoot the ball comfortably and consistently out to three point range and is a great facilitator. I think he'll be starting from game one."

So our front line this season is going to be Onuorah, Giddens, and Lamore. Fantastic. A freshman and two upperclassman with barely any game experience.

I've already given up on Bunce. Who knows if he'll ever play a game for us this season.

Anybody else see this as a glaring issue?

I haven't hear anything, anything at all about Bunce missing the season. Just that he tweeked and ankle in September and was not working out for 2 weeks.

As for the frontcourt, would agree that it will be limited.

That said, I am not worried about THIS season. I think this season is all about building for next season (2014-2015).

When we close the book on this season, we want to feel good about what is returning for the roster.

We just might get that after a season of watching Lamore, Giddens, Onuorah and Tomic.

It's frustrating that BC of shonn's injury we write off the season. That's bs. I don't give Courtney a pass for this season - with or without Shonn. The fact is, we would get smoked by Harvard anyway.

We need to start seeing too 100 kids suit up in a Cornell uniform, just as much as Harvard. This "hidden gem" luck has run it's course.

Anon 12:28: Don't hold your breath. We're not landing any Top 200 kids, let alone top 100 guys. Our recruiting after landing David O. has been a huge disappointment.

But wait, we have a kid visiting next weekend who's also considering Lipscomb! And the best kid at our elite camp was Wil Bathurst! Signs we're in deep with Top 100 talent for sure.

Harvard is creating a dynasty, and we're...where are we? It's been four years since we've had a winning record, and we're likely to have an RPI in the 300's this year (i.e. one of the absolute worst teams in the country).
