Coach Courtney lost the Seina game. A terrible time to get a technical with a 10 point lead late in the game. Cornell's lead dropped to 4 points and they lost momentum. Some coaches take a technical if behind by 10 to fire up their team. Another game lost when we are leading late in game.

Agree, but -- when the team only shoots 50% from the foul line - you can expect to lose the close ones. 75% is a reasonable goal, and would have won us two games.
Practice!!! Go Big Red

We've lost two games not exclusively because of coaching, but because we missed free throws down the stretch. Coach C. can't shoot free throws for his players (that's not to say there aren't valid criticisms of his coaching). 2-4 wouldn't be great, but it's sure better than 0-6.

After 3+ seasons of bad games, the details of one game are hardly the issue -- Courtney has got to go, period. He has been horrible since year one.

The problem/concern with him is that he has set standards so low that even one or two wins against any team that isn't Dartmouth will have people demanding that he deserves an apology; even a handful of minutes of competent play during the game leads to effusive praise and hope, and that is sooo sad four seasons into your tenure, when you've rewritten standards to cupcake levels that five minutes of competent ball-passing makes you appear a hero. He has got to go sooo badly.

If we don't beat St. Francis, we could literally go 0-13 in out of conference play against D1 teams.

If that happens, it's time to make a coaching change, whether it's Coach C.'s fault or not. There's accountability in life, and a record like that is unforgivable (and I'm actually a Courtney supporter, although that support is growing ever more tepid).

I'll be surprised if we beat Radford. It could certainly happen, and I hope that we do win and start to make this season less pathetic.
