Where to begin. Same complaints I posted last year. Too much switching and double/triple teaming. Leaves easy layups for other team or fouls for being out of position. Albany must have scored 20 points on foul shots. Take away half of them and we win. When it is working, fine, use it. It obviously wasn't with Albany. So stop doing it. It pains me to watch games like this we should have won. We have a good team. Good shooters and good rebounding. Lots of hustle. Now we need some good coaching.
Bill loves having his guys hedge so hard on ball screens. Sometimes, I see them hedge all the way out to the half court line. This is a recipe for disaster when you have no other players capable of rotating into the paint to block shots. Inevitably, what happens is that the ball gets passed to the middle and the hedger (usually Onuorah or whoever is playing inside) is in no position to block the shot. And since we usually play a 4 guard lineup, nobody else can defend inside either.
